The Phoenix Café Bar is located at the unique and enchanting Universal Hall, amid the beautiful gardens of the Findhorn Ecovillage. In 2022 we were listed No. 1 in The Times newspaper’s 5 of the Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Scotland.
Opening hours
We are open every day from 9am to 5pm*, with both inside seating and a very popular outside garden terrace. (*We are closed on 25 & 26 December and 1 & 2 January).
Our Bar is open (most) Saturdays from 5 pm – 7pm for live folk music sessions.

Menu
The Café offers a wide range of vegetarian and vegan breakfast and lunch options, snacks and hot drinks (with both dairy and alternative milk options), as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Our emphasis is on fresh, local, organic ingredients.
Croissants, pastries and wonderful cakes, made by a local French pâtissier, washed down with a shot of espresso, add a continental flavour to village life. See our latest menu here.

Universal Hall Live Music & Theatre
When the Universal Hall is open for an evening concert, the Phoenix Café Bar is also open before the show and during the interval for drinks, both soft and alcoholic.
